Got questions, we have the answers

Rapid Response:
  1. How many people show up if I press the Panic Button in case of an emergency?
A minimum of 4 well trained Response Team members will swiftly arrive at your location. Since we have multiple Response Teams strategically placed around the city more help will be sent if the situation requires. The Police and Fire Service will be contacted should the situation require it.

  2. Does the Xpert Security Response Teams patrol the neighborhood from time to time?
No, we do not randomly patrol neighborhoods since this could affect response times negatively and it is the function of the Police. We remain on high alert and respond only to our clients emergencies. We do visit client locations from time to time if requested to do so in case of special circumstances.

  3. What should I do if I receive a distress phone call from home while I am away?
    1. Inform the person calling from home to press the Panic Button immediately.
    2. Follow it up with a call to any one of our emergency hotlines, when the operator answers state your name and location number (where the emergency occurred) clearly, then request the operator to dispatch the Rapid Response Team to the emergency.

Clearly state the nature of emergency, like FIRE or INTRUDER. Example: "This is Mrs. Jones from location AR999 (pronounced Alpha Romeo NINE, NINE, NINE), we have a FIRE at the house please send help immediately!"

It is very important to always remain calm and speak in a clear voice when speaking to the operators.

Do not hesitate to call any of the Xpert Security managers if you want further assistance. (See Contact List)

  4. How will I be sure that my system is always on?
We take every possible precaution during the installation and maintenance to ensure a reliable and working system. We also encourage our clients to test their systems regularly for peace of mind (at least once every 60 days).

  5. Can I request a Remote Panic Button system with no hardwired panic buttons?
Yes, this is possible, although not always advisable. Remote Panic Buttons can get lost or the batteries can run down. This is usually only realized incase of an emergency. So we suggest wired panic buttons (it comes free with the system) for additional safety.

  6. What is the range of the Remote Panic Button?
The range is around 100 meter radius from the main receiver unit, depending on the surroundings. After installation, we will test the range for your particular location.

  7. What do I do if we lose a Remote Panic Button?
Call us and we will arrange to have it replaced.
